The Admissions Process

 Thank you for your interest in enrolling your child at Starting Point Montessori (SPM)! We are very excited about the quality and direction of our programs and look forward to having you join the SPM family. We offer a unique opportunity to provide your child with an early education using the Montessori Method.

Our admissions process is a sincere attempt to look at each child’s individual learning needs to determine if we have the most appropriate educational environment for him/her. Past school records and enrollment forms equip our admissions committee with information to best place each student. Please be sure to provide all requested documentation.





An enrollment application must be completed and submitted to our Admissions Committee. The enrollment application for our programs (Toddler, Primary and Kindergarten) may be found here.



Upon review of the enrollment application, parents/guardians may be called to schedule a Parent Interview and Tour with the School Administrator. This is the time for the parent to come alone to observe the classroom and experience the work cycle of the students.


After your application is reviewed and your school visit is complete, you will be notified as to the status of your child’s admission. If accepted in our program, a registration form and enrollment packet will be provided. We look forward to hearing from you, and we urge you to contact us with questions or comments anytime.

A child may be admitted to Starting Point Montessori at any time of the year due to the individualized nature of the Montessori curriculum.
